Forest at School – School in the Forest / LEAF Program

TEREZA Association has developed and coordinated Forest at School – School in the Forest Program in the Czech Republic since 1998. In 2007 it was incorporated into international LEAF (Learning about Forests) Program.
The program aims to deepen the understanding of forests and all its values among youth. It reflects all the functions forests fulfill for people: cultural, ecological, economical and social. We provide not only educational materials and activities to classrooms, but especially encourage kids and their teachers to explore their local forests and learn from them. Partner of the program, the company Forests Czech Republic, enables program participants to start cooperation with the nearest Forest Administration.
